World Society for the Protection of Animals helps BOS.

WSPA throughout the world is helping Borneo Oranguan Survial to raise much needed finances for the Orangutan Reintroduciton Project, Nyaru Menteng.

The existence of Nyaru Menteng is threatened after loss of a very high donor last year. So for the year 2007 WSPA is doing fundraising in order to save the project. The WSPA campaign was launched this week in the Netherlands, please go to www.wspa.nl for more information.

The orangutan is on the verge of extinction due to poaching and habitat loss. Now deep in the heart of Borneo orangutans and Dayaks, the local aboriginal people, have come together in a unique program. Dayak women have become surrogate mothers to hundreds of orphaned orangutans.
